The Forbidden Forest is still off limits to underage adults. Adults, however, find it on occasion profitable to go and harvest plants for the local apothecary, or just to have an adventure.

Just off to the side of the Gameskeeper's Hut is a large pumpkin patch with every kind of over sized vegetable imaginable. Some are normal in size, which some are as big as houses and require some assistance to climb onto. No one is sure why Hogwarts even grows pumpkins, but they are here just the same. Since the last groundskeeper died, they've become overgrown and unmanageable- they probably couldn't be cleared out even if anyone wanted to try.

Hogwarts' Quidditch Pitch is still open to the occasional players, whether just for recreation, or for small games organized by the diehard fans. It's a source of much joy for most people in a time of war and small games are held almost every weekend.
