North of Hogsmeade is a place with a rather welcoming atmosphere where the Three Broomsticks, the Post Office, and Fiorenza Flower Supply are located.

The south of Hogsmeade is rather quiet and not as lively as the only places you can go there are spread quite far apart from each other. Here you can find the WWW Hogsmeade Division, The Daily Prophet, and (much further away) the Shrieking Shack.

To the right of the Entrance Hall stand two large double doors that lead into the Great Hall. Inside is a vast chamber with tables lined in four rows; one for each house, with a large dais at the front for the staff. Meals are still served three times a day here, and anyone is welcome to them.

Hogwarts is still open to residents of Hogsmeade. Although there are no classes being held, it is the base camp of the Order, and there's almost always something going on here. Plus, there are three free meals a day, and who doesn't want that?

Where you're not anywhere else, you have to be somewhere! Be careful, however, as the hallways can turn into an endless maze of twists and turns if you don't look where you're going.

Knockturn Alley leads off of the more savory Diagon Alley. Knockturn Alley is a dark and seedy alleyway in London which Muggles have no access, and which is frequented largely by Dark Wizards. Many of the shops in Knockturn Alley are devoted to the Dark Arts; the largest is Borgin and Burkes, which sells sinister and dangerous objects. It is also home to Twilfitt and Tatting's, a clothing shop similar to Madam Malkin's.

Sub-board: TWILFIT AND TATTINGS

It is possible for wizards to visit Muggle London, although they much be careful to dress appropriately and say nothing of the Wizarding World. Muggle-born children can find their homes here and spend time with their families over the holidays and breaks, do some shopping and go back to their 'normal' lifestyle, or to give magic-born students a lesson in Muggle life.

If you don't live in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade, you probably have a family estate somewhere in the English countryside, or maybe you live in a smaller Wizarding community.

If it's not roleplay, and it's not drama, then come on in and chat it out! You can talk about anything you please in here. Ideas, life, music, relationships, whatever you want that isn't related to the roleplay.

Want to show off that flashy new photoshop you just bought? Need someone to make a signature or avatar for your character? Come on in here and the friendly people who have talent with such thing will help out. We love it, it's like a weird hobby of ours.

Life happens, and sometimes we have to go away from the board for days to weeks at a time. It's no big deal, we just ask that you drop us a line so we don't think something horrible has happened to you. Of course, sometimes you can't and we understand that too, so if you miss an activity check or you're going to be gone but don't want the world to know, just PM a staffer.

Past and Present Era Roleplays can be a nice break and help us set up canon (well, for the site anyways) back stories for our characters. You can roleplay all of those here, as well as summer and winter vacations (if we don't have another board), random trips, and other off-topic roleplay threads here.
