leah isabelle corner,
what are you fighting for?
it's her life and it's worth living
it never struck her to pause for one minute!

name: Leah Corner, if you call her Lee she’ll try to hurt you (but she probably won’t succeed)[/size]
age/graduating year: 23, graduated 2021
former house: Hufflepuff
alliance: Unafilliated
wand: 11’’ Rosewood, Unicorn tail hair core
occupation: Artist
patronus: Dragonfly
boggart: Thunderclouds
striking features:
For Leah, her dress sense alone is enough to make her very very unforgettable. The fact is, she does not wear her clothes to be ‘in style’ or make a fashion statement; she actually likes the way she dresses. Odd things like half shorts half jeans is her idea of elegant outing material, all the clothes she has bought have been customized by herself, adding things as simple as sequins to very abstract things such as splashing a tub of pain and flicking splotches of colour onto her tops. Although her hair is naturally straight, she tends to charm it a lot of the time to make it ‘afro-like’ and stick odd things such as baubles and charms in her hair, sort of like a Christmas tree – if she’s not doing that, she’ll be keeping her hair natural – although she goes backwards and forwards from dying it in ranges of blondes and browns, yet with a nice (well, in her eyes – anyway) selection of brightly coloured highlights. Although at Hogwarts (as instructed by the Headmistress) she toned down on the face make up; outside of Hogwarts she liked to experiment on herself with tings such as face paint and vibrant eye shadow (which don’t match on each eye). She is seen a lot of the time as a ‘freak’ by her peers, especially by a lot of those ‘superficial’ types... Though she feels that it’s part of her identity, even in these dark, gloomy times – she never feels as if she needs to change who she is and what she stands for.
----
personality & history:
As for what she stands for – it’s basically to become a totally unique individual, her way of thinking being, ‘If we weren’t born to be unique, then we might as well have been born as maggots’. And because throughout her life people has constantly looked down on her about it – she has a sort of ‘I really couldn’t care less about what you think of me’ sort of attitude.
Leah is generally sweet, and well mannered to those she has never talked to, or does not know very well. She feels that first impressions count a lot for a person, therefore she tries not to cross any boundaries when talking to people she does not know very well. Plus, when somebody leaves a good first impression on Leah, she will most likely be their friend for life, likewise if they do not (generally if they seem, well – not very nice), she will try to avoid them for the rest of her life. However, Leah is sometimes very quick to judge; and then her first impression of that person is very hard to change – making her a little judgmental at times.
The good thing about Leah is that she is very honest and pretty d**n loyal too – but if something is on her mind; nine times out of ten she will say it. Unless she’s angry that is, and when she is – instead of shouting, smashing things up or just generally letting her aggression take over – she simply turns very pink in the face and all the things she wants to say just stay on the tip of her tongue.
Academically, she was always just an average student – in fact, she was actually under-achieving at quite a few subjects in her first five years at Hogwarts; but she just managed to pull her weight slightly and pass her OWL’s with acceptable grades, So, Leah was never really book smart- but she found her true calling – she was always a creative person, so she started selling artwork and photography to both wizards and muggles (although she made sure she didn’t sell any charmed work to them) and have started to become quite successful.
Politically, Leah has decided to just become a detatched indvidual, although she's always for optimism and change - she feels like there's nothing substantial that she could do.

anything else: She owns a toad called 'Jesepe'.
