Shawn Henley was Bored.
Yes, Bored with a capital 'B'. He'd surpassed mere, uncapitalized 'boredom' about an hour ago, when Sammy had kicked him out of the living room for trying to build a fort out of couch cushions. As it turns out, the charm used to make objects bigger on the inside than they were on the outside was NOT, as he'd been so sure of, engorgio.
It probably hadn't helped his situation that he'd found Sammy picking cushion-stuffing out of her hair hysterically funny.
Now he was in the kitchen, putting away clean dishes like the good little house-guest he was (and re-washing a bowl that he'd found mysteriously covered in hamster fur). He was putting the mugs back into their cupboard when he noticed it. Each mug had these little grooves on its lip, just above the handle. Probably to make them easier to stack together.
Interesting.
Ten minutes later, there was a pyramid of precariously stacked mugs sitting on the kitchen table.
With delicate care, he placed an upside down plate atop the highest mug, then an upside down wine glass on top of that. He stepped back to admire his work, shoving his hands into the pockets of his khakis and tilting his head critically. Something was missing.
After a few minutes of foraging, there was a hunk of cheese sitting proudly on top of the wine glass, with a flag made of paper and a matchstick shoved into it. The flag said 'Shawn', of course.
Perfect.
Well. Now that he'd done that...
Boredom.
With a sigh, he decided to brave the den of the Dragon Sammy once again, and opened the door to the living room. She had her back to him, writing, as usual.
"So...what's up?”

[/b] Each word was punctuated as her voiced dripped with anger. "You are lucky Kyle doesn't keep alcohol in house anymore, dearest brother." She dropped her pen and spun her chair around to face her brother, a fake smile plastered on her face. She stood up and walked towards him, her 5'5" frame not meeting up to his 5'8" frame, but just as menacing as if she towered over him. Shawn doesn't know how much trouble he is in. [/ul][/size]
